Merchandise preparation

Toys:

Toys should be clean and in working condition, including having working batteries. Toys that do not have working batteries will not be accepted. If a toy has small parts, place them in a ziplock bag and tape them to the main toy using clear packing tape.

Books:

Books need to be in good condition. Attach the tag using painter’s tape or masking tape to prevent tearing of the cover when the buyer removes the tag.

Puzzles/Games:

These items need to complete, and not missing any items. Either tie or tape these closed using painters’s tape or masking tape.

Movies/Videogames:

We will not accept VHS. Any DVD’s must be child appropriate, no ‘R’ rated movies. Please check the DVD case to ensure that the right DVD is in it. Please tape these closed with tape.

Large toys/Outdoor play equipment:

These items must be clean, and include all the pieces.

Equipment/Furniture:

These items only sell if they are set up and people can see what they look like. At the drop off you will need to assemble these items that need to be set up, such as a Pack-N-Play. Be sure that none of these items have been recalled. Please see our ‘Safety’ tab for more information.

Bedding:

These work best in an extra large ziplock bag, so that you can include the entire bedding set in the bag.

Loose items:

Small items (such as hair bows, bottles, etc.) work best in a ziplock bag. Be sure to tape the top of the bag with clear packing tape so that items won’t get lost.
